Why Derby? When I moved cross-country, a friend recommended picking up derby as a way to meet folks. I took their advice, met the wonderful humans who play with/for LADD, and haven’t looked back since! It’s so good to have a team sport in my life again and get to play with folks with diverse body types, backgrounds, and I get to be my full, nonbinary self!
