Fall is in the air but it’s not slowing down your Derby Dames! We have a variety of events coming up and we hope to see you at one or more of them. Here’s a rundown of the places you may see us in the coming weeks. Don’t forget to check back to see what new dates and fun events we add as the season winds down.
September 13th: Several of your Dames and Refs head South to Albuquerque to play and officiate a double header hosted by Duke City Derby.
September 14th: Open Skate, Meet and Greet at the Los Alamos County Ice Rink 10-Noon.
September 20th: The Dames join with others in the community to raise funds for Suicide Awareness and Prevention. You can learn more by visiting our fundraising page here. Later that day you can find us on the Ski Hill at Ullrfest. We will have several new tee shirt designs for sale and information on how you can join our league as a skater, ref or volunteer.
September 21: New Skater Orientation at the Ice Rink. Interested in learning how to skate? It’s great for your health and it happens to be just a little fun too (okay, a LOT of fun). We have gear to try on and a handful of Dames will be there to show you a few basics and answer all your questions. 10-Noon.
